  • What are the operating modes of overseas warehouses?

1. Self-operated overseas warehouse

The self-operated overseas warehouse model refers to an overseas warehouse built and operated by an export cross-border e-commerce enterprise, which only provides warehousing, distribution and other logistics services for the goods sold by the enterprise. In other words, the entire cross-border e-commerce logistics system is controlled by the export cross-border e-commerce enterprise itself.

2. Third-party public service overseas warehouse

The third-party public service overseas warehouse refers to an overseas warehouse built and operated by a third-party logistics enterprise, and can provide customs clearance, warehousing quality inspection, order reception, order sorting, multi-channel delivery, subsequent transportation and other logistics services for many export cross-border e-commerce enterprises. In other words, the entire cross-border e-commerce logistics system is controlled by a third-party logistics enterprise.

  • What are the common businesses of overseas warehouses?

1. One-piece dropshipping

In short: the seller sends the bulk stocked products from the domestic to the overseas warehouse abroad, and then the staff of the overseas warehouse counts and puts them on the shelves. When a buyer places an order, the seller only needs to issue a shipping instruction in the overseas warehouse system, and the warehouse staff will implement local delivery in the foreign country according to the instruction.

2. Change label

If there is a problem with the seller's account or the label is wrong, the product needs to be sent to the overseas warehouse to change the label and resell it.

3. Transit and self-pickup on other platforms

The most common situation is to combine FBA and third-party overseas warehouses, first stock up in overseas warehouses, and regularly or irregularly transfer to (replenish) FBA, while shipping from FBA and overseas warehouses. In addition, overseas warehouses can also provide services for some platforms with self-pickup needs such as wayfair or Walmart.

4. Handle value-added services such as returns and exchanges
